Materials Needed:
Size 10 crochet cotton in ecru
36 E Beads, 6 of each of 6 colors. You will end with one left over.
Size 7 steel crochet hook
Tapestry needle that fits through beads

Yarn Thickness: 10thread
Gauge: 8sc=1"
Finished Size:12" x 1½" overall size. The main part is 1½" x 1¾"
Skill Level: Intermediate

Special Stitches:
Double beaded double crochet: (dbdc):
Yo, insert hook in stitch indicated, yo, pull up a loop, bring up a bead, yo, pull through 2 lps on hook, bring up another bead, yo, draw through last 2 loops on hook.

Instructions
String all beads on thread first. In the following pattern order. Color 1 through color 6. I used the following colors. Dark Pink, light pink, blue, green, yellow, white.

ROW 1: Ch 12. Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Ch4, turn. The chain 4 counts as a ch3 with a chain 1 space in next row.

ROW 2: Sk the very first sc. Sk the next sc. *Dbdc in next sc. Ch1. Sk next sc. Rep from * 3 times more. Dc in last sc. Ch1, turn.

ROW 3: Sc in first dc. *Sc in next ch1 sp. Sc in next dbdc. Rep from * 3 times more. Sc in top of ch 4 sp. Sc in 3rd ch of ch4. Ch4, turn.

ROW 4: Rep ROW 2.

ROW 5: Rep ROW 3.

ROW 6: Rep ROW 2.

ROW 7: Rep ROW 3 but do not ch4, just chain one.

Now you will work around the perimeter of the piece. Treat each dc row as a ch3 space on both sides.
(Sc, hdc, 2dc, hdc, sc in each of the next 4 ch3 spaces.) Sc in each sc across bottom of ROW 1. Rep bet () once up other side. Sc in each of the next 5 sc across top. Ch94. Bdc, dc, bdc, dc, bdc, in 4th ch from hook. Ch2. Slst in same ch. Slst in each of the next 90 chains. Sk next sc of row 7. Sc in each of the next 4 sc. Join w/slst to ch1. Fasten off and weave ends into back of work.
