Small amounts worsted weight yarn in yellow and white
Size H crochet hook
Small amount fiberfill stuffing

Instructions

Bottom of pincushion

Rnd 1

With yellow, ch 4, join w sl st in 1st ch to form ring, ch 3, 11 dc in ring, join w sl st in 1st dc, fasten off (12 dc).

Rnd 2

Join white w sl st in 1st dc of Rnd 1, ch 3, dc in same dc, 2 dc in next dc and in each dc around, join w sl st in 1st dc (24 dc).

Rnd 3

Ch 3, dc in same dc, 2 dc in next dc and in each dc around, join as before, fasten off (48 dc).

Top of pincushion:

Rnd 1

With yellow, ch 4, join w sl st in 1st ch to form ring, ch 1, 6 sc in ring, join w sl st in 1st sc (6 sc).

Rnd 2

Ch 1, sc in same sc, 2 sc in next sc and in each sc around, join as before (12 sc).

Rnd 3

Ch 1, sc in each sc around, join as before, fasten off (12 sc).

Using an 18″ length of yellow yarn, sew top of pincushion to center of bottom, stuffing top lightly with fiberfill about 3/4 of the way through sewing. Weave in ends.
