Materials Used1- 16 oz skein Caron yarn (not all was used)
Hook SizeI
Measurementsapprox. 49" hip and 21" length approx. size 3x
NotesSimply Soft yarn would make a good substitute. I used what I had. I always wash the finished product and 4ply yarn softens up after washed. I also wear a black slip with this skirt.

Length can easily be changed by adding more or less rows.

Size can be adapted by using a smaller hook or changing the starting chain count. Your first chain should be a multiple of 10 plus 4.

This skirt is worked as a rectangle and then I sewed up the short ends to make a back seam. Then I added 1/4" elastic for the waist. I measured my waist and sewed the ends of the elastic together. After the skirt was done, then I single crocheted the elastic on the the waist.
