Crochet Sandro the Reindeer

Materials
— 2.50 mm crochet hook (US C)
— 100 % cotton yarn for a 2.50 mm hook
— A pair of 8mm safety eyes
— Tapestry needle
— Polyfiber fill

You will need:
Mustard, light brown and the color of your choice for the scarf.
Then a bit of white, red and blackfor his muzzleand some leftovers of pink to embroider the cheeks.
I’ve used 100% cotton yarn (8/8–DK Worsted).

Leg 1
Using mustard…
1. Chain 6 ch stitches. Crochet 2 sc (increase) in the second ch from hook and then 1 sc in each of the following 3 ch stitches. Crochet 4 sc (2 increases) in the last ch stitch, which will allow you to turn and work on the other side of the foundation chain. Crochet 1 sc in each of the following 3 ch stitches and, finally, 2 sc (increase) in the last ch stitch. (Total stitches: 14 sc)
2. Crochet 1 sc, 1 increase, 4 sc, 1 increase, 1 sc, 1 increase, 4 sc, and finally 1 increase (18)
3.Crochet 18 sc
4. Crochet 7 sc, 2 decreases and finally 7 sc (16)
5. Crochet 6 sc, 1 decrease, 1 sc, 1 decrease and finally 5 sc (14)
Start stuffing the legs firmly and continue doing so as you go…
6. and 7. Crochet 14 sc
8. Crochet 5 sc. Leave the rest of the stitches unworked.
Fasten off yarn and weave in ends. Set aside.
Leg 2 + Body

Fasten off yarn and weave in ends.
Assembly
-Curve the ears and sew them to the head.
— Sew the horns in between the ears.
— Stuff the muzzle slightly and sew it in between the eyes. With a bit of red and light brown yarn embroider the nose.
— Sew the arms to the body.
— With a bit of light brown yarn, embroider some spots to the side of this forehead.
— Knot the scarf around the neck.
— Weave in all ends inside the doll.
