PATTERN NOTES

Always use stitch markers to mark your rounds.
You ALWAYS do the first stitch where you sl st from the previous round.
The ch2, at the beginning don’t count as a stitch.
SPECIAL STITCHES
Triple Crochet (tr) — Y/O hook twice, insert hook into stitch & pull up a loop (4 loops remaining), Y/O hook & pull thru 2 loops (3 loops remaining), Y/O hook & pull thru 2 loops (2 loops remaining, Y/O hook & pull thru the 2 remaining loops.
BUTTERFLY
Rnd 1: sl st, ch3, 4tr, ch3, sl st, ch3, 4tr, ch3, sl st, ch2, 3dc, ch2, sl st, ch2, 3dc, ch2, sl st into magic ring
F/O, secure and weave in the ends. Not too tightly, wrap the beige yarn 4 times around the middle of the butterfly. Make a knot or two on the top to secure it and to make the antennas. Trim the antennas if necessary.
ASSEMBLE
Glue a paperclip on the back.
